Is your refrigerator running?

....cause mine's not. The past few days I've been paranoid that it's not cold enough in the freezer, but I've been checking the ice cubes and they seem to be holding up, so i've let it go. But this morning, I pulled a loaf of sandwich bread out of the freezer and discovered that it was not nearly as frozen as it should be. I rearranged things so that the fan in the back of the freezer was clear and shut the door...hoping that when I got home things might be better. but they weren't and things are covered with condensation and definitely not thoroughly frozen. and it's not all that hot in the refrigerator section, either. So I just called the emergency pager that our landlord has and they are working on getting us a new fridge. It looks like they can't bring it till tomorrow, though, so they told me to take pics of what is in my fridge and pull receipts for reimbursement. What a pain! But the good news is that they are going to give me a full size refrigerator to replace this crappy "apartment sized" fridge. yay!

Home at last....

Lisa and the boys made it home safe from Florida. Drove through some thunderstorms enroute but otherwise unscathed.

We are now in the process of washing all our clothes to be ready to load up and head to Virginia. Time to take a look inside Kate's head. I'm sure there is something in there! Looking forward to the visit. And of course the food. Planning on eating too much while we are there. Can't have a good visit without over eating you know.

Off to the laundry room.

Spring Break

Lisa is heading to Panama City Beach for a couple of days with Brant and Bryce. The boys went down Saturday with their Dad. Lisa is going down for a couple of days and bringing them back to Indiana. So far it sounds like the traffic down there rivals Nantucket in the summer. Lots of going nowhere fast. Need to know the back roads to get around.

Looking forward to seeing Kristin and Kate next week. Wish it was for a better reason. You don't have to develop a tumor to see me Kate! We can still visit anyway!

Still waiting for spring to break here. It doesn't last long here, seems like days, 40 degrees this week, 85 the next. Ready for some sunshine and losing the jacket (though it's a great place to put my keys). Good with the bad I guess.

Kristin and Kate, I will see you soon. Mom, can't wait for graduation so we can see you too. Can you bring some linguica with you?
