Dad: Audio Post

Dad,

I did some reading in Blogger.com's help files and posting an audio clip looks like it will be a pain in the butt. Here's the link on how to do it. I checked out "GabCast" and it's a service you have to sign up for...it's free, but that still seems like a pain.

Basketball update

Brant has been getting more playing time recently on the JV team. He scored 5 points the other night. His high for the season. Bryce was moved up from the Freshman team to the JV team. He has a couple of minutes (almost) playing time and has scored 1 point. The Freshman season is finished now, and only 1 JV game, plus sectionals (playoffs).

Following the Blog

Okay, I put in to follow the blog. What does that do? I follow a blog from a writer and I get his updates via email when he posts. Anyone figured out how to do that? I think that would be great.

Posting an audio file....

Trying to figure out how to post a copy of the Car Talk show Kate was on. I understand how to post pictures or videos, how does one post an audio file? It is a standard CD track (ripped from Itunes. Any thoughts would be welcome.

Kate on Car Talk

Here is the link to hear Kate's call on Car Talk. Her segment is called "The Third Hand Solution"

I am going to try to download the MP3 and post it up here, too.

Back on the wagon

Hello! It's been a long time since we've posted! Things in Richmond are same-old, same-old for the most part. Mike and I are trying to make the effort to get out and do things more often. After working, going to the gym and cleaning up the house, we're not often very inspired to go out and do things. BUT, since Mike's the calendar editor for Style Weekly, he tends to have the scoop on upcoming events. Last week, we went to an Andrew Bird concert. This guy plays the violin in almost every song. The week before, we went to a lecture at the Fine Arts Museum on art heists. That was really interesting! Apparently art is one of the top "international currencies" and sadly, is often used as payment in drug-related activities.

Anyway, that's what we've been up to lately!
